Victoria Lynn Adams

Victoria Lynn (Tipsord) Adams, age 72, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Nov. 1, 1951, the daughter of the late Robert Tipsord and Joan (Kinsey) Kalb.

Vicki was an amazing mother, Nana and GG who loved all of her children dearly, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always held a very special place in her heart. She was loved by many people and her glow was as bright as the morning sun. She would always sit and listen when someone needed to talk and she would do anything to make someone’s day better or to make them feel special. Vicki loved watching the Golden Girls, reading books, collecting miniature tea sets and jewelry. Everyone knew her favorite flowers were daisies and lilacs and her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Vicki is survived by her partner, William Richardson; daughters, Angela Certain and Sheila Adams; sisters, Deb (James) McCurdy, Lancia (George) Rice, and Antonia (George) Nelson; brothers, Robert (Louri) Tipsord and Donald (Linda) Reeb; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and her fur babies, Daisy and Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Tipsord and Joan Kalb; husband, Richard Adams Jr.; sons, Richard Adams III and David Adams; grandsons, Brenden Adams and Kristopher Adams; brother, Thomas Tipsord; and her sister, Jennifer Wheeler.

A visitation for Vicki will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
