VICKIE (MERTZ) HENLEY CLOUSE, 56, of Canterbury Gardens Assited Living, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jean (Clouser) Mertz. Surviving are one son, Jeremiah Henley of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; one sister, Pam ( Don ) Nicholas of Muncie; and three brothers, Greg (Mary) Mertz of N. Redington Beach, Fla., Denny (Lynette Huddleston) Mertz of Fort Wayne and David (Jayne) Mertz of Martinsville, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clouse. Funeral service is 3 p.m. Saturday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with visitation two hours prior. Burial will be at a later date in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the Grandchildren's Education Fund c/o Pam Nicholas.
