Travis Duval Jones, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born March 10, 1981 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Janice Jones and Oscar Billingsley, who survives. Travis was truly a musical artist with a bright aura, sense of humor and deep love of family. Travis is survived by his sons, Travis Jones Jr., Shawn, Jarius Johnson; daughters, Imani, and Aveyah Coker; brothers, Antoine Billingsley, Bobby Scott, Yoshzmin Hairston, Terry (Andrea) Griffin and Lewis Stuart; sisters, Sherri Billingsley, Evette Howard, and Dayonique Inez-Dickerson; and special parents, Thomas and Loretta Masterson. He was predeceased by his brother, Ernest; and special friend, Jamie Milton. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Pastor Gary Griffin officiating.
The Jones family will receive visitors beginning at 11:30 a.m. Committal service to follow at Highland Park Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. Serving in the capacity of pallbearers are Lamont Mills, Mike Starns, Yoshzmin Hairston, Travis Jones, Jr., Doug Bright and Lewis Stuart.
