Thomas Starke

Thomas Starke, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Born on December 23, 1936, in Fort Wayne he was the son of the late Christian and Pauline (Metting) Starke. He was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, and proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. Thomas was a 1959 graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy, and retired from Keltsch’s Pharmacy after more than 30 years of service, and was a member of the NEIPA (Northeast Indiana Pharmacist Association). He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Ron) Jancso; son, Greg (Renee) Starke; grandchildren, Justin (Mary) Jancso, Rachel Jancso, Allison (Travis) Runyan, Austin Starke, Melissa (Tyler) Taylor, Connor Starke; great-grandchildren, Michael Jancso, Brayden Jancso, Riley Runyan, Makayla Runyan, and Walker Runyan. He was also preceded in death by his wife of over 57 years, Carol (Wiebke) Starke. Funeral service will be 12:00pm, Friday, August 4, 2023, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1126 Barr Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
