Thomas "Tucker" W. Rodak, 80, of Coldwater, Michigan, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024 at The Villages, Florida. Tucker was born February 18, 1944 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son to the late John M. and Evelyn (Strickler) Rodak. He attended West Liberty State College and received his Associates Degree from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science as well having served honorably in the U. S. Navy. Tom was a named partner and worked as a manager and funeral director at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Homes. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, served as past president of the church council, past president of Holy Name Society, and was a former member of the St. Therese Catholic Church School Board. He also served as the founding president of Waynedale Kiwanis Club and served as board president for Prairie Grove Cemetery Association. Tucker enjoyed the many years and visits from family and friends at Coldwater Lake, as well as traveling and spending many Winters in Florida after his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Faith D. (Edgell) Rodak of Coldwater, MI; sons, Thomas W. (Miranda) Rodak, II of Indianapolis, IN and Sean Rodak of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Renee (Vanessa) Rodak of Kent, WA; grandson, Durius Rodak of Kent, WA; sister, Judy (Bill) Turley of Warner Robins, GA; and brother-in-law, Gary Bertram of Defiance, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Bertram. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
