Thomas Lynn Murdock

Thomas Murdock, 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana died unexpectedly at home on May 16, 2023. Born to Vance and Patricia Murdock. He attended Carroll High School, then shortly after turning 18, he joined the Army. He worked for the I.A.T.S.E 146 since 1988. He worked at Martin's Tavern in Garrett, Indiana as Front House for several years. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. He enjoyed NASCAR, baseball, talking on his CB radio and ROCKING out to music. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sheila Murdock, sons Thomas Murdock II (Amber) and Kyle Murdock and daughter Jennifer Spraggins. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; Vanessa, Jordyn, Vance, Cameron, Daneigha, and Terrence. He was preceded in death by his parents Vance and Patricia Murdock and his brother Robert Murdock. A visitation for Thomas will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
