THAO VAN NGUYEN, 81, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born Jan. 1, 1932, in Can Tho, Vietnam, he was a son of Khia Van Nguyen and Nhieu Tli Ta. Surviving are his wife, Tu Thi Vo Nguyen; daughters, Le Thuy (Dang) Nguyen Tran of Fort Wayne, Oahn (Khiem) Nguyen Hoang of Vietnam, Quan (Phuc) Nguyen of and Le Duyen Nguyen, both of Fort Wayne; Kim Phuong (Mark) Nguyen Deluca of Greenboro, N.C., Diem Thuy Nguyen and Michelle Nguyen, both of Fort Wayne; sons, Ha Nguyen of Vietnam, Phuc Nguyen and Duc Nguyen, both of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Jaclyn M.N. Nguyen and Joline H.A. Nguyen; and grandsons, Brett W. Deluca, James P. Nguyen, Johnny D. Huyuh, and Justin Dinh. Funeral service is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Dai Bi Temple officiating. Visitation is from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
