Susan R. Klooze, 66, passed peacefully into God’s care on February 19, 2016. Born on February 1, 1950, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Susan was a very determined, strong-willed, independent, and giving soul who was devoted to her family, friends, and neighbors. Susan was diagnosed at a young age with Myasthenia Gravis, but always remained determined to live a full and productive life. Education was important to Susan; she received B.S.’s in Psychology and Mathematics from Manchester University, an M.A. in Psychometry from Ball State University, and a B.S. in Information Technology from Purdue University. Susan had many interests in life including snow skiing, lake activities, gardening, her pet dogs and birds, and traveling to visit family. She is survived by two sisters, three brothers, three nieces, five nephews, and ten great-nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her parents, MaryLou C. (Matthew) Klooze (2012) and Kenneth W. Klooze, M.D. (2007).
Memorial service will be 2pm Saturday March 5, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Inurnment will be in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital, Paws with a Cause, the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America, or the American Alzheimer’s Association.
