Steven Lee Hutton, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born October 2, 1949, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Alfred and Eileen (Holmes) Hutton. Steven proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of Northpoint Community Church. He was a carpenter/welder and operating engineer in excavating for 47 years. Owner of the “Avilla Gorilla”, Steven enjoyed racing cars at the Avilla Race Track and loved fishing. Steve was loved for his witty sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Vicki (Frederick) Hutton of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sheila Hutton of Van, TX; sons, Jerrod (Stephanie) Hutton of Sanbornton, NH, and Kevin (Leslie) Reynolds of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Barry Hutton, Laura (Tim) Beucler, and Cindy Fahls. He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Michael Reynolds; and sister, Linda Reiling. Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Northpoint Community Church, 10513 Leo Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Friday, December 29, 2017, at the church. Burial at Eel River Cemetery.
