Steve Miller

Steven K. Miller, 50, of Summitville, Indiana passed on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born on March 7,1973 in Fort Wayne. He was the son of Richard and Margaret (Floor) Miller. Steve was an avid music lover. He was in the school marching band at Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne, then went on to play many instruments over the years, including piano and guitar. Steve's love for music showed in everything he did. Music was such a huge part of his life.

Steve had many jobs over the year's but landed in Telecom in early 2000. He spent the next 23 years traveling the United States, building cell phone towers in nearly every state including Hawaii and made countless friends along the way. Giving nicknames to his crews and ultimately adopting "Towerninja" for himself. He was a Construction Manager for Ericsson at the time of his passing. Steve touched many lives. He is loved and respected in this industry and will be sorely missed by all.

Steve loved his Harley and loved to ride. He found another family with his biker brothers. He regularly participated in benefit rides to support his friends, family and complete strangers. Steve's love for his family, children, friends and wife were unmatched. He was a loving father and a devoted husband. His family meant everything to him. He is survived by his wife, Melissa M. Miller; children, Keith and Ashlee Miller; parents, Richard and Margaret Miller; brother, Jeffrey Miller; as well as a host of aunts, uncles & cousins.

Visitation will be held from 12-4pm on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Rd Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with a time of sharing beginning at 4pm. A dinner to follow the time of sharing at Elmhurst Church, 2951 Sandpoint Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
