Shirley is survived by her children, Richard Felts, Diana Felts, Michael Reich, and Maureen Reich-Cuney; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne Friar of Florida; step-children, Michael Deschler Jr., Teresa (Gregory) Gallaway, Michelle (Harold) Dant, Andrea Deschler, and Lesly Deschler; and two step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Deschler Sr., in 2009; and brothers, Jack and Gene Friar.
A funeral service to honor Shirley's life will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
