SHARON K. STOCKERT, 64, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born July 11, 1947 in Fort Wayne, she had been an LPN for 38 years retiring in 1999. Surviving are her husband, Richard L. Stockert; sons, Glenn (Amy) Stockert of Fort Wayne and Dennis (Amy) Stockert of Ada, Ohio; daughter, Sarah Joan Stockert (and partner Sandy Armstrong) of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; mother, Joan Altevogt of Fort Wayne and best friend, Bev Blanchard of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn R. Overla. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Highland Cemetary. Preferred memorials to American Diabetes Assoc. or American Cancer Society .
