Sharon Rose “Rosie” Kiermaier, 73, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born August 26, 1939 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Glen E. and Mae G. (Johnson) Kumfer. She retired in 1998 from General Electric. Surviving are children, Kimberly (David) Riesen of Churubusco and James (Chris) Kiermaier of Fort Wayne; siblings, Larry (Linda) Kumfer of Tocsin, Carolyn (Gary) Parker of Churubusco, Linda Bledsoe of New Haven, Connie (Butch) Adams of Fort Wayne, and Dennis (Connie) Kumfer of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Lindsay Ast, Matt Riesen, Daniel Kiermaier, Kevin Kiermaier, and Steven Kiermaier; and great grandchildren, Cody and Connor Ast. Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 12, 2013 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery.
