Sharon Kay Carsrud, 75, passed away on January 16, 2018. She was born in Muncie, IN on January 24, 1942. Sharon worked as a Licensed Practicing Nurse at various nursing homes before her retirement. Her hobbies included playing bingo, poker, and slot machines. Sharon also enjoyed attending hockey games, and would travel to various cities to watch games live. She was an avid Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs fan. Sharon is survived by her mother, Marjorie Rhoades; children, James (Denise) Hill, Jeffrey Hill, Paul (Christina) Williams, Jacqueline (Victor) Lopez, and Tomena (Marvin) Williams; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her step-brother, Gary Muncie. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Gibson; step-mother, Bonnie Gibson; and grandchildren, Janice Kay Harmon and Kimberly Hill. A funeral service will take place at 11AM on Monday, January 22, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805, with calling 2 hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Tomena Williams.
