Sarah Jane Johns, 98, formerly of Shawnee, KA, passed away February 22, 2024 at her son’s home in Fort Wayne, IN, where she resided for the past 14 years. She was born, October 3, 1925, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frederick W. and Esther Josephine (Munson) Miller. She graduated in 1943 from Southwest High School Kansas City, MO. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Mary Ann) Johns, grandson Kelly (Ashley) Johns both of Fort Wayne, IN; and, great granddaughters, Emma, Raegan. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William L. Johns, and a great granddaughter, Morgan. Funeral Services will be pending at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
