Sara is survived by her mother, Julie Snider (Longroy) and her father, Dennis Snider. She is also survived by her sister, Andrea (Morgan) Showman, her brother, Nicholas Snider, and her two half-sisters, Shawna (Dan) Connelly, and Angel (Brent) Kuhn.
Sara is predeceased by her brother, Christopher Allan Snider, and her grandmother, Ruth Ann Longroy.
Sara attended Northrop High School where she received a certificate of participation and walked with the graduating class of 2009 alongside her sister, Andrea.
Sara had Angelman Syndrome which is a rare genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and causes developmental and intellectual delays. She was nonverbal but did not need words to communicate with those she loved, which was every single person she ever met. She could only walk with assistance, but that never stopped her from getting where she wanted to go.
To say that Sara was loved is an understatement. She taught those around her a special type of love, patience, and kindness. She enjoyed spending Sundays getting chased around her Grandpa Longroy’s house by her Aunt Darla. Sara also loved spending her time eating peanut M&M’s and watching Fuller House. She gave the best hugs and the most slobbery kisses. She enjoyed eating all types of cake and chips, often together. When she was younger, she was a bit of an escape artist, and that led to her nickname “Sara-dini”.
Sara Ann was a special girl, with the biggest smile, who will be immensely missed by all that met her.
