Sara "Sally" Ann Smith of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022. She married the love of her life, Jackie D. Smith, in June of 1951, and had six children together; three of which preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Jackie, and three sons: Jackie D. (Colleen) Smith of Noblesville; Gregory L. (Christine) Smith and Jody E. (Rachel) Smith, all of Fort Wayne. Sara is also survived by three grandchildren: Allyson (Tim) Henderson, Christopher (Leslie) Smith, and Brittany Smith. Sara also had three great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne, at 12 o'clock noon, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in her name. Arrangements are entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Mungovan.
