She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 29, 1935 to the late Harry and Mary Sutton. She was also proceeded in death by her husband of 49 years James Schroeder, and her sister Phillis Busick.
Sandra graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and was an elementary school teacher. When her children were born, she stayed at home to raise them. She was very talented with arts and crafts, and she was well known around the area for her hand-crafted bird houses and wreaths.
Survivors include Douglas (Lucy) Schroeder, Todd (Alicia) Schroeder, Scott (Tracey) Schroeder. Grand children Brian Schroeder, Matthew Schroeder, Courtney Sweet, Aaron Schroeder, Andrew Sweet, Colby Sweet, Nathan Sweet, and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of contributions to a charity, we think Sandy would want you to take a few minutes and think of someone you love and spend time with them while you can.
There will be no services for Sandra, at her request.
