Sandra Joy (Davis) Finton was born January 18, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was the daughter of Harry and Madonna Davis. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on July 2, 2024 at her home.
She was a 1971 graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School. She was quite the entrepreneur having various businesses in crafting, cake decorating, Avon and Mary Kay Cosmetics. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, camping, playing games, hosting family dinners and spending time with the grandkids.
On June 9, 1979 she found love and married James W. Finton and until death did they part. She made their house a home and instilled Christian values in their two sons.
Sandra was a member of the Moose Lodge 200 and served as Past Senior Regent where she served in many capacities. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing with James.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 45 years, James W. Finton; sons, Robert (Kathryn) Hunsche and Christopher (Kristy) Finton; seven grandchildren, Kayla, Gavin, Railly, Marissa, Trey, Joey, and AJ, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 4:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Lakeside Park with a Memorial Visitation starting at 3:30 pm.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Sandra's memory.
