Sandra Kay Cunningham, 78, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Parkview Randallia. Sandra was born November 18, 1944 in Fort Wayne, daughter to the late Robert Hutchisson and Dorothy (Martin) Sheets. She retired from the Indiana State School. Surviving are her children, James Cunningham of Fort Wayne and Ebony Rae (Bruce) Vanderveer of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Mary Lou (William) Graham; and nephews and nieces, Robert (Tamara) Perkins, Gerald (Lisa) Perkins, David L. Walker, Dorothy "DJ" (Mike) Moore, and Angela Graham; and nine great nieces and great nephews. James and Ebony would also like to recognize Karey Lynne Franklin of Idaho. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeniece Walker-Hake and Hazel Preston; and brother, Charles Sheets. Her genuine kindness, her strong work ethic, and her sense of humor will always be remembered. A private family service will be held for Sandra on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808.
