Sadie retired in 1994 from General Electric, in the motor assembly division. She loved cooking, watching Golf, and watching the daily Soap Operas. She is survived by her daughters, Julia Parker, and Les Patricia Wattley; siblings, Brenda Harris, Reather Winfield, James Abercrombie; as well as a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Mary Green, died one day after Sadie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bessie and Thomas Abercrombie; and a son, Michael Suttle.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Imani Baptist Church, 2920 Indiana Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling beginning at 1:00pm, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
