Ryan "Marquee" Smith, age 30, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. Ryan was born May 7, 1991 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Brian Keith Smith and Dorothy Anita (Bates) McGinnis. He graduated from Southside High School, Class of 2010. Marquee worked in production for Alconex Magnet Wire. He was passionate about OSU Football, listening to Young Jeezy, eating chicken fingers and fries, and playing basketball with his brothers. Marquee was candid man of strong conviction, had a great sense of humor, full of love and compassion shown by his love for his children, his family and forever a momma's boy.
Marquee is survived by his children, Brooklynn Jean Smith, Kaydence Marquee Smith, Aamirah Nicole Smith; mother, Dorothy (Robert Swann, Jr.) McGinnis; father, Brian Smith; siblings, T. Nicole (Bates) Bedenfield, Shanita Bri'an Bates, Brian Maurice Bates, Ashli' Shane' Bates, Keith Dontavious Moore, Krenisha Delores (Moore) Magere; grandmother, Theodocia (Bartley) Bates; aunt, Melissa H. (Bates) Sullivan; uncles, James Maurice Bates, Jeffrey R. (Donna M.) Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
