Ruby Allison

Mrs. Ruby Marie Allison departed this life Jan. 12, 1982 at St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness. She was the daughter of William and Margaret Storey. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, October 27, 1928. In 1929 the family moved to Fort Wayne. at an early age Ruby confessed Christ and joined Union Baptist Church. In 1947 she married James Allison. Of this marriage twelve children were born. Surviving are seven daughters, Jeanette Bearfield, Joan Allison, Ruby Allison, Mary Allison, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Veronica Montgomery, Indpls, Ind. Vadie Strozier, Detroit, Mich. and Cheryle Underwood, Colorado Springs, Col. Five sons James Allison Jr., Newport, R.I., Darrell Allison, U.S. Navy, Guam, Vernon Allison, Roland Allison, Robert Allison all of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Three sisters, Evelyn Sims, Dallas, Texas, Betty Moore, Ft. Dodge, Iowa and Joyce Swain, Fort Wayne. Three brothers, William Storey, Paul Storey, Fort Wayne, Mervin Storey, Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren.
