Roy Junior Edwards

Roy Junior Edwards, 81, of Ft. Wayne passed away February 19, 2018. He was born July 25, 1936 in Falls of Rough, KY to the late Bloomell and Lucille (Ashley) Edwards. He worked as a fork lift driver for International Harvester and then Mr. Edwards worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools as a school bus driver along with working in maintenance at Bridgedale Apartments. He was US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Reva Edwards of Ft. Wayne; sons, Doug (Cheryl) Jackson and Carl (Andrea) Jackson, both of Ft. Wayne; brothers, Carl Edwards of Long Island, NY, and Boyd Edwards of Paris, IL; grandchildren, Corbin Jackson, Cheyanne Jackson, Casey Jackson, Angela Helms, and Rachel Kelly; six great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46809 with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Thursday, February 22 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
