Rosemary J Liechty Nichols

ROSEMARY J. NICHOLS, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Parkview North Hospital. Born March 17, 1931 in Berne, she was the daughter of the late Jacob L. and Susanna Schwartz Liechty. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, and had been Supreme President of Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority. She was employed by Rogers Markets as a bookkeeper. She was married to Richard Nichols who preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons, Richard R. Nichols II of Austin, Texas and Charles L. (Diana) Nichols of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Kristen Rose Nichols of Indianapolis and Matthew Charles Nichols and fiance', Danielle Schuster of Muncie; brother, Milton Liechty of Fort Wayne; sister, Edna Babcock of Fort Wayne; stepgrandchildren, Melissa (Josh) Peters of Fishers and Matthew McAdow of Terre Haute; two great-grandsons, Luke and Logan Peters. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters, David Liechty, Esther Babcock, Ann Pierson, and Lornie Schindler. Celebration of Life Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday April 24, 2012 at Trinity English Lutheran Church. Reception will follow in Waganals Hall.
