Rosemary Drysdale, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. Born on August 14, 1925 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Michael and Mary Elizabeth (McGinty) Boyle.
Rosemary came to Fort Wayne with her husband, George, in 1952. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and volunteered at Most Precious Blood Catholic School in the cafeteria. Rosemary loved sewing, and was known as the neighborhood seamstress. She had a tremendous sense of humor and was loved by many. Family was important to Rosemary, and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed going back to Canada to visit her family, spending time at Cook's Lake, and enjoyed attending Komet's games. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 70 years, George Drysdale; sons, Daniel (Diane), and Timothy (DeDe) Drysdale; grandchildren, Tabitha (Adam) Craig, Tony (Janelle) Drysdale, and Bradley Drysdale; great-grandchildren, Emma, Baylee, Carter, Kasey, Cecelia, Olivia, Benjamin, and Jackson; and brother, Larry (Nan) Boyle.
A private funeral service will be held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with a celebration of life at a later date.
