Ronald W. Niemeyer, 70, of Fort Myers, Florida died at home on April 27, 2003. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, he retired from Bank One as Vice President in 1992. He was a former Adams Township Trustee, past President of New Haven Chamber of Commerce, formerly served on the Board of Crime Stoppers, a 17 year veteran with the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department, Special Deputy Steuben County Sheriff's Department, and member of Fort Myers Power Squadron and B.P.O.E. Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; three sons, Steven L. of Elgin, South Carolina, Michael S. Bauer of Fort Wayne, Indiana and George R. Bauer, deceased; two daughters, Vickie L. Bell of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Karin L. Odum of Fort Myers, Florida and eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at the Old Bridge Village Club House, North Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday, May 3, 2003, at 11:00 a.m.
