I regret  that we were never personal friends in HS, only classmates. I first got to know Ron from our Class of 61 Reunion committee. I took some picnic supplies a few days before our big weekend. We got to talking about everything.  Past, present and future. We had a common love for cars so it was an instant bond of buds. We went to both Trump rallies at the Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum. He had a van load of Trump posters, which we handed out after. Everyone was asking for more.
Another time he had arranged a tour of Lingenfelter's in Decatur, Indiana, a Speed shop. They build engines and cars for major corporations and the private individual. He was proud of his Lingenfelter 50th Anniversary Corvette. This was also our 50th Class Reunion. Both his Escalade and Corvette had Lingenfelter Mods.
He also loved his Notre Dame Sports. Especially the men and women's basketball.
I will miss all his emails. I wonder what the last one he read from me. 
To all his family you are in our prayers.
