Robert "Ike" R. Stange

ROBERT R. "IKE" STANGE, 94, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 11, 1918, in Lansing, Mich. He was a Captain in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired in 1983 as Vice President and General Manager from Pepsi Cola, Fort Wayne, after 35 years of service. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ; Masonic Lodge 33 F.&A.M., in Lansing, Mich.; Scottish Rite; Mizpah Temple; Past President of the Indiana Bottler Association; Charter President of Toastmasters; and Past President of the Central Lions Club. Surviving are his sons, Larry (Marlene) Stange and Ed (Kelly) Stange, both of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Paul Stange and Jessica Stange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, in 2003; and granddaughter, Jennifer Stange. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
