Robert Edward Martin

Robert Edward Martin, 41, passed away at home on Sunday, September 10, 2017 in Fort Wayne. Born in Bradenton, FL, Robert was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Haven. He was a blue belt in karate from the Bowles Karate Academy, an avid Pittsburgh Penguin and Notre Dame football fan. Surviving are the loves of his life; wife, Janice Martin nee Nunn of Fort Wayne; and his rescue dogs and cats; Also surviving are his siblings, Madeline Islas, April Lopez, Angel (Grover) Ousley, Ken (Mary Hladasz) Martin Jr., Joseph Bradshaw Jr., and J.P. Martin; and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Martin, Sr. and Betty Bradshaw; 2 dogs; uncle, Jake Kreider; and his mother-in-law, Joan Boren. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, 943 Powers St. with calling one half-hour prior to service. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a Vigil service at 3:30 pm.
