Robert Edward Lewis

Robert Edward Lewis, 81, passed away Saturday November 19, 2022. Bob loved music, and at age 10, he received a two-year scholarship to The Columbus Boys Choir School in Princeton, New Jersey. Bob had many fond memories of riding the train to school from his home in Winamac, Indiana. He eventually pursued a BA in Music Education at Indiana University (with a Masters in Recreation) and was a member of the Indiana Singing Hoosiers. Bob started working for State Farm in 1971 and continued working for 51 years as an agent and manager - he loved the company and people he worked with. Bob also loved living at Clear Lake, Indiana where he was president of the town council for six years. He enjoyed sailing, golfing, singing and dancing – he was often the life of the party! He is survived by his wife, Karen (Wissman); sons, Jeffrey (Nancy) and Robert; granddaughters, Delaney and Jenna; brother, Jerry (Rose Marie); and sisters, Renee, Sharon (Jack), and Pam.
