Robert Anton Engelmann

Robert Anton Engelmann 78, passed away Monday November 8, 2021 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born May 5, 1943 in Middle River, Maryland, the son of the late Sylvester Anton and Sylvia M. Engelmann Sr. Robert worked at International Harvester / Navistar for 48.5 years. He was a Journeyman in Automotive design and development in department 73 and retired in 2012.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda Engelmann of Fort Wayne, IN; children Brian (Leah) Guy of Niles, MI; Chad Guy of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Sylvester (Kathy) Engelmann Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; sisters Beverly Gloyd of Fort Wayne, IN; Cynthia Engelmann of Largo, FL; and a grandson Charlie Guy of Niles, MI. Robert was preceded in death by his son, Troy Engelmann.

Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Messiah Lutheran Church 7211 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior.
