Robert Eugene Davis

Robert Eugene Davis, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born in Corning, Arkansas on December 31, 1940, a son of the late Charles and Beatrice (McQueen) Davis. Bob proudly served in the United States Navy from 1961- 1965. He then worked for the Ossian Community Market for 55 years as a Meat Cutter. Bob enjoyed golfing, watching western movies, family genealogy stories, and trips back home to Arkansas. Most of all he enjoyed watching any sport, dance and or cheer performance his children or grandchildren were involved in. Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vivian Davis; sons, David (Lori) and Todd (Stephanie) Davis; daughter, Pam (Kevin) McGloughlin; step-daughters, Jill (Kelly) McGaffick, Katie (Mitchell) Jacobs, and LuciAnne Hanefeld; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Leffers, Joey (Natalie) Guillaume, and Adrienne (Theodore) Davis, Ciaran, Seamus and Gaetes McGloughlin; step-grandchildren, Kyle and Caitlin McGaffick, and Brian Burnham; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Hazel, Jules, Eowyn, and Zelda; and sisters Mary Ann Bell and Charlene Davis. He was also preceded in passing by his brothers Charles "Bill", George "Bo", James and General "Skip" Davis; and sister, Louise Dearing. A celebration of life for Robert will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Trier Ridge Community Church, 7501 Hessen Cassel Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816. Contributions in Robert's memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Susan G Komen Foundation.
