Ritchie C. Shropshire, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1964 in Fort Wayne to the late Chester E. Shropshire and Shirley (Rogers) Bowers. He worked as a semi-trailer mechanic for NAVL. He was an avid race car fan. Surviving family include his sister, Sue (Tom) Zuber, brothers, Bob (Patty) Englehart and Tim (Peg) Englehart. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his sister, Sherry Kinney. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4-8 pm on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse.
