Doug and I send our deepest sympathy. I especially have wonderful memories of Rita and John.

I'm so sorry to the Wasylk family for their loss. I was a childhood friend of Brent's spending a lot of time at his family's home. Rita was always so nice. She put up with the banging of our basketball games in her driveway. I can still taste the authentic Kielbasa that she would let us taste.

Rita was a beloved neighbor and friend who brought so much joy and kindness wherever she went.  Our condolences go out to Brent and all of her family.

Special comfort and peace to Brent and all your family, from all of us at Kingston Residence.  Rita was so loved -- such a quiet, good-humored and down-to-earth friend.  She really enjoyed being with people, walking around, watching someone fold laundry, even playing ball with us up to about a week or two before she passed.  Her smile was endearing.  Her favorite way of sitting was with her legs secure, agile, and resting over the arm of a chair.  Rita could relax wherever she found herself, and she was a calm and relaxing friend to be with.  Brent shared that while he was sitting near her as she lay in bed, Rita suddenly had an excited expression on her face and raised both arms upwards.  What a precious moment to share with her son, before the Lord gently took her Home a couple days later.  When she quietly and simply went on to heaven, she looked beautiful, as though she were just sleeping.  Such a fitting way for Rita to enter into her forever life with the Lord and loved ones.  We miss her but feel her presence still.
