Rita Sue (Lambert) Redden, 78, passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Rita was born in Huntington, IN, and was the daughter of the late Nolan and Elizabeth (Dinius) Lambert. Rita graduated from Roanoke High School followed by work at various organizations that her heart drew her to. Rita and her late husband Jerry were longtime members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Left to mourn her passing are many family members, high school friends, and the staff and residents of Heritage Park Senior Living Center. Funeral services for Rita will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
