Richard "Rick" A. Bell

Richard "Rick" A. Bell, 66, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Born July 20, 1956 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post #241 and a member of the honor guard for 8 years, which was truly a passion of his. Rick enjoyed collecting Santa Clauses and Eagles. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to Elvis Presley. Rick is survived by his life partner, Vicky Graham; mother, Madonna Shepherd; sister, Marsha (Gerald) Bryan; brothers, Bruce (Heather) Shepherd, Jack (Juanita) Plimpton; and niece, Lisa (John) Koeler. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, George Shepherd; and sister, Lydia Anglemyer. A funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. With visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Prairie Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to Stillwater Hospice or American Legion Post #241 Honor Guard.
