RICHARD A.BORDEN, 94, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, July 18, at home surrounded by family. Born in Kendallville, he was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, a long-time volunteer at St Joseph Hospital and a retiree from International Harvester. He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa Borden and sister Patricia Dressler . Surviving are his children, Terry J. (Marcia) Borden, Tim M. (Gillian) Borden, Kathleen M. Borden, Thomas L. Borden, Ted P. (Shelly) Borden, Karen J. (Jeff) Hoffman, and Todd A. Borden; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great, great-grandchildren; sister Jeanne Richter. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services (Highland Park Cemetery Chapel), 2403 E. Wallen Road with mass and burial immediately following.
