Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1961 when he was honorably discharged. He was a career Construction Supervisor for many years.
He was an avid outdoorsmen, huntsmen and fishermen. Ray enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years and love of his life, Elane Caudill; children, Phyllis Barkley, Darrell (Heather) Caudill, Lora (Michael) Theveny and Scott Caudill; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren (with one on the way); siblings, Pearl Whitt and Juanita Miller; one sister-in-law, Helen Caudill; and many nieces and nephews.
By Ray's request, there will be no publics services held. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
