Phyllis M Mead

Phyllis M. Mead, 90, was reunited with her family and her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was born on November 23, 1927 in Goshen, IN to the late Paul and Eva Eaton. She retired from school teaching in 1986. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. She is survived by her children, Rev. Daniel (Alice) Mead, Stephen (Marge) Mead, Elizabeth (Stephen) Johnson; 8 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Rev. O. Dale Mead; and three brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1 PM at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46815 with visitation 2 hours prior. Visitation will also be held Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6PM to 8 PM also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Indiana.
