Phyllis (Knote) Keller, 86, passed away Friday April 17, 2015, in Fort Wayne. She was born in Huntington, Indiana to the late Dane and Rena Knote. She was a nurse at Lutheran Hospital, prior to retiring and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she married her husband, Joseph Keller, in 1950.
Surviving are her children, Julie Anderson of Rockville, Lisa (Kim) Hassett of Westfield, and Alan Keller of Fort Wayne; son-in-law Eric Eastes; sister Sue Knote; six grandchildren and one great -randchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Elaine Eastes, and brother Jack Knote.
Visitation will be 4-7 Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 420 W. Wayne St. www.klaehnfahlmelton.com. Services will be at 11 o’clock on Thursday April 23, 2015, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 729 W. Washington Blvd. Burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Alzheimer’s Association.
