Philip McClure

Philip McClure, 92, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Phil was born February 10, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Joseph and Harriet McClure. He was the co-owner and operator of McClure Contracting with his wife, Marjorie McClure. Phil was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church and YMCA. He also belonged to the Masons and Elks Lodge #155. Phil enjoyed building, creating, and woodworking. He had a passion for golf, eating ice cream, and spending the winters in Florida. Phil is survived by his children, Marcia McClure, Lynn (Rich) Fuller, Janet McClure, Mary Ann (John) Cohen, Annie (Torrey) Babson and Matthew Babis; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Albert (Sue) McClure; and sister-in-law, Marilyn McClure. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie McClure; daughter, Laura Kelley; sister, Harriet Facks; and brothers, Joseph, Robert, Richard, William, James, and John Thomas McClure. There will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fort Wayne Central Branch YMCA.
