Peggy Ann Bishop

Peggy Ann Bishop, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at her home. Peggy was born August 24, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter to the late Jay Willard and Marie E. (Mosher) Rausch. Peggy worked as a homemaker throughout her life, as well as having worked in customer service for ATT and Home Life. She is survived by her children, Judith (Chuck) Whitaker of Katy, TX, Jeanie (Timothy) Hunter of Fort Wayne, and Joseph Bishop of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Daniel Whitaker and Sarah Whitaker, and sister, Rosemary (Joseph) Hampton of Maumee, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jay Bishop; infant son, James Bishop; and half-brother, Theodore Rausch. A family graveside committal service for Peggy will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Peggy's memory may be made to Advanced Care Connections or Stillwater Hospice.
