He graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in business from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and in 1973 an Associate Degree in data processing from IPFW.
He was a store manager for Kroger and later the produce buyer for northern Indiana. He joined Broadview Lumber in 1973 and retired in 2003 as Controller and Vice President of computer operations.
Although Paul had a German surname he was 15/16 Irish and it showed in this gregarious personality, quick wit and appreciation for a stiff manhattan. He loved to read, garden and travel, his favorite destination being Lake Havasu City, AZ each winter.
Paul is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann Gresley Weber, son Clark (Tammie) Weber, two grandsons, four great-grandchildren and a sister, Jane Peerson of Naperville, IL. He was predeceased by two sisters and brothers-in-law Ruth (Harry) Weber of Indianapolis and Claire (Eugene) Mangin of Madison, WI
Ann wants to thank Heartland Hospice and the entire staff of Heritage Pointe Living Center as well as the Heritage Point Villas community for their unswerving love and support for both Paul and Ann during the past few months.
