Paul graduated from Olivette Nazarene College and worked at Harvester International until his retirement.
He was heavily involved as a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene and was very involved with community outreach and church activities.
Paul was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Paul is survived by his children, David Knapp and Rebecca (Mark) Nothstine; grandchildren, Jessica (Austin) Smith and Mark Griffis; great-grandchildren, Kyrstin, Ethan and Jaxson; siblings, Elmer Knapp, Nancy Knapp and Chris (John) Regedanz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane in 2018.
A funeral service will occur Monday, August 23, 2021 at 1:30 PM with calling one hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM also at the funeral home.
Committal service will be at Highland Park Cemetery, Ft. Wayne, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Ft. Wayne or Trinity Church of the Nazarene.
