Patricia A. Matson

Patricia A. Matson, 74, of Fort Wayne passed away, Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her home. She was born on August 28, 1936 to the late Rev. Charles A. and Victoria I. (Boothby) Wine. She worked as a hairdresser and jeweler at Kay’s and Voors. She was a member at VFW #1421 where she served as president two times. Surviving relatives include her children, Gregory (Tasha) Barrand of Ft. Wayne, Douglas (Michelle) Barrand of Ft. Wayne, Yvonne Lennon of Ft. Wayne, Lisa Lahrman of Ossian; siblings, Robert Wine, Chester Wine, Junior Wine, Russel Lahr, Georgianna Hanks, Katrina Nahrwold, Charlotte Couch, Kenneth Wine, John Wine, Diane King; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Donald K. Barrand and Eugene P. Matson as well as a daughter, Vickie. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Ft. Wayne with calling two hours prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family.
