Patricia L. Gordon

Patricia L. Gordon, 66, was surrounded by love when she was called home by the Lord on May 5th, 2023. She was born January 13th, 1957 to Isabel "Lynn" and Charles E. Gordon. Patricia was employed through GTE/ Verizon, for over thirty years, retiring in 2007. She was a devoted child of God, and loved her family and friends with every ounce of her being. Patricia enjoyed thrifting, flowers, the sunshine on her face, the sound of birds singing on a Saturday morning, the sound of laughter, and also loved having tea parties with her granddaughters. She loved her church, the Lord, but especially enjoyed the women's group at Grace Brethren. Patricia leaves behind two children, Lynsey (Andy) Burd , and Justin (Jennifer) Zolnik; four amazing granddaughters whom she cherished, Isabella, Audra, MacKenzie, and Violet; along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved. She also leaves behind, with immense love, her loyal and loving sister, Bonnie (Randy Derrickson) Gordon and best friend, Marilyn Van Tilburg. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Isabel "Lynn" and Charles Gordon; beloved sister, Julia and Iraj Modarressi; and brother-in-law, Christian Bicknese. Celebration of Life is 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 20th at at Grace Brethren Church, 4619 Stellhorn Rd, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be directed to the church. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service - Highland Park.
