Ok Sun Chon, 92, of Los Angeles, Calif., passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, at her home with her family by her side. Born December 29, 1922 in South Korea, she was a daughter of the late Hee Moon and Moon Ok (Heo) Kim. Ok Sun Chon owned a retail store, a tailor shop, and most recently a restaurant from which she retired. She was a devoted Christian and was strong in her faith. She loved and cared for her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Kwang Hui (Mark) Williams of Fort Wayne and Kwang Ok Choi of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Kwang Bong Choi of Fort Wayne and Kwang Il Choi of Busan, South Korea; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cheol Choi; one brother; and one sister. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne Street., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 4-6pm at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road., Fort Wayne. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the church.
