Neil L. Woodruff, 85, of Spencerville passed away September 26, 2024 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn. He was born January 4, 1939 in Brockton, New York to Lyle and Victoria (Dobbs) Woodruff. He married Patricia Danner; she survives. Neil was a loving husband, father, grandfather and Great Grandfather. He enjoyed playing games, gardening and helping family members with their home projects. He worked hard throughout his life, providing well for his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Lance (Ellen) Danner, Robin (Steve) Reesman and Steve Woodruff; four grandchildren, Tyler Danner, Benjamin Danner, Nicole (Brandon) Eicher and Jacob (Shelby) Hartman; three great grandchildren, Eli, Alivia and Landon and a sister, Diane (Ron) Link. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 11:30 AM, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, 46804. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park immediately following the services. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of your choice in Neil’s Memory.
