Nancy L. Barrett Smith

NANCY L. SMITH, 75, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, 5:45 a.m., at Kindred Transitional Care. Born Aug. 7, 1937, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Richard Barrett and Anna (Mullane) Barrett. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her sisters, Mary Beltz of Fort Wayne and Patricia Clay of Danville, Ill.; nieces, Cheryll Phillips of Danville, Ill. and Jeni Werling of Ossian; nephews, Rick Barrett of Fort Wayne, Tim Barrett of Kendallville, Dean Barrett of Columbus, Ohio, Andrew Beltz of Yoder, John Clay, Danny Clay, Jeff Clay, and Tom Clay, all of Danville, Ill.; and several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Smith; brother, Richard Barrett; and sister, Sharon Barrett. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Christopher Smith officiating.
